Staroba Plastics Inc. has purchased the EcoStar roofing tile business from Carlisle Cos. Inc., effective Jan. 1. Staroba, a Holland-based injection molder, has manufactured the EcoStar products since the inception of the product. "EcoStar LLC will have full control of all aspects of manufacturing, marketing and selling the EcoStar line of products and will be ideally positioned to consolidate its position as North America's leading supplier of synthetic roofing tiles," Staroba said in a news release. EcoStar roofing tiles are made from recycled rubber and plastic.
